Do you do an extras/add ons?
this is a question my first few clients very kindly asked for, so i've added a list of extras below. If there is something specific you'd like as an extra we can discuss this in emails.
hand written lyrics of the song: £12
video performance of the song: £50
video of the song with lyrics: £70
video of the song with lyrics & personal images sent by you: £100
i'm sold! what should I say in my initial email?
in your first email to me, please briefly explain what you'd like me to write about, when you'd need the song to be completed by. I will then come back to you and agree the fee. Once the logistics are agreed, i will probably ask you more questions about the song subject so be prepared to give me as much info as possible.
(the more info you give me, the easier it will be for me to write)
how long will it take?
expect a turnaround of around 4-6 weeks if this is a gift for someone, please specify the date you'd like it for & if you need a shorter turn around time, we can discuss this in emails.
Who Owns the song?
Lucy May Walker will retain 100% of all the rights to the song. you are welcome to share the song with friends and family but nothing is to be shared publicly without lucy's approval. By commissioning a song, you agree that I may re-work, record & release the song in the future.
what if i don't like the song?
with a 100% success rate so far. fingers crossed you will absolutely love what i write for you... but if there's anything you really don't like in the song, please email me to discuss any changes you'd like to request. one change will be free, any further amendments will be an extra charge of £50 per change, due to the extra time it takes to re-write and record.
